PokeNudge

Privacy Policy

Effective September 12, 2026

PokeNudge is designed to work privately on your devices.

Data collection

PokeNudge does not collect, sell, or share personal information or usage information. No account or sign-in is required. The app does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking.

On-device task data

Your tasks, completion states, selected team, timer state, reminder choices, and imported task-pack data are stored locally on your devices. A private Apple App Group lets the iPhone app, widgets, Live Activity, and Apple Watch components share the state needed to display your tasks and timer.

Notifications and Live Activities

If you allow notifications or Live Activities, iOS uses the task information you provide to schedule and display reminders and timers. These alerts are handled by Apple’s operating system and are not sent to the developer.

Optional remote task packs

You can optionally enter a URL to import a CSV or JSON task pack. When you use this feature, PokeNudge requests that URL directly using Apple’s networking APIs. The URL and downloaded task pack remain on your devices; PokeNudge does not send them to the developer.

Photos

If you choose a raid-guide image, PokeNudge saves the selected image locally in its private app storage or App Group container. It is not uploaded to the developer.

Third-party apps and services

PokeNudge can open Pokémon GO when you choose a task action. Pokémon GO and Apple services are governed by their own privacy policies. PokeNudge does not read Pokémon GO’s hidden emotion points or current Buddy mood.
